The TPTE InsideBarFinder saves you the time-consuming evaluation of individual bars in search of Inside Bar constellations. You define which criteria the “first candle” and the “second candle” must meet for the pattern to be considered an “Inside Bar”. This can refer to candle bodies, upper or lower wicks, POC relation, or even the direction (bullish/bearish) of each candle. Additionally, you can specify whether a candle should lie completely within the other or just the bar body.
Thanks to practical box markings and lines, you can immediately recognize which areas on the chart are relevant – for example, by having a line drawn above or below the candle high/low, or a box around the respective Inside Bar setup. Two-Candle Configuration
First Candle: Determine its direction (bullish/bearish/neutral) as well as minimum or maximum values for candle body and wick length.
Second Candle: Define how it must relate to the first candle (e.g., completely within range, only within the bar body).
Inside Bar Mode
Bar Body is inside Bar Body: Only the actual candle body must lie within the body of the first candle.
Whole Bar: The entire bar (including wicks) is checked.
Mirror Mode
Opposite Inside Bars: Deactivate or activate “Mirror Mode” to cover the same logic in reverse – practical for opposite setups.
Parallel Drawing: Set separate colors and line styles for mirror setups to immediately recognize when the market signals in the other direction.
